My Story

I’m just a girl whose life has been changed by a God that has shown Himself strong over and over again. A God that has gone to great lengths to show me that He loves me with an everlasting love. A God that wouldn’t let me settle for second best and has done exceeding abundantly above all that I could have ever asked for or dreamed of.

From the day He saved me in late April 1997 until today, nearly fifteen years later, He has been on a mission. A mission to make my life the abundant life a child of God should live.

It’s been a long journey. A journey of heartbreak and plans disappointed. A journey of restoration and a better plan realized. A journey on which He’s held my hand even during seasons in which I neglected Him. A journey in which He’s taken Scripture from black words on white paper to strength sufficient for each and every day.

A journey on which I surrendered my desire for marriage and motherhood that I might know my Savior better. In a way I never thought possible. But being the wonderful Savior that He is, He gave me the desire of my  heart when I married my Prince Charming on December seventeenth two thousand eleven, six years after believing it was a dream that would never come true. Then just six short weeks later, blessed us with the news that a sweet baby was on the way.

A journey on which I’ve seen Him work in the minute details to bring His perfect plan to pass.

A journey of learning to love my Lord. In word and in deed.

A journey that’s only just begun.

I’m praying that you’ll walk beside me by way this blog. That you might see just a glimpse of the glorious God that has become Life to me!

Sara, I want to let you know what tremedous blessing it has been watching you grow up into the beautiful (inside and out) young lady that you have become. Your love for the Lord and desire to please Him is very evident in your life. The past few years, since you and Megan began singing with us full time, has also been a very special blessing. I am very thankful for all that you do for our Lord.

    Love you
