I am Resolved…

2 Jan

Lord,

May this be a year of

Living and doing right, pleasing You with my actions.

“The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.”

Proverbs 15:3

Having a merry heart continually regardless of the circumstances.

“…he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.”

 Proverbs 15:15

Speaking only words that edify, words that make souls stronger.

“The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.”

Proverbs 15:28

“A fool’s mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.”

Proverbs 18:7

“Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.”

 Colossians 4:6

Rejecting laziness and being productive. Using the time You give wisely.

“He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.”

Proverbs 18:9

“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

Ephesians 5:16

“Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;”

Romans 12:11

Keeping the right spirit knowing it will only enable more to be done for Thee.

“The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity but a wounded spirit who can bear?”

Proverbs 18:14

Being a better friend.

“A man that hath friends must show himself friendly…”

 Proverbs 18:24

Trusting your timing, refusing to grow weary.

” Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”

Psalm 37:5

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

 Galatians 6:9

Following close behind You, having full confidence in Your leading even though I can’t see what’s around the next bend.

“And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”

Mark 8:34

Finding joy in the journey!

“But the fruit of the Spirit is…joy…”

Galatians 5:22

“And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.”

 Romans 5:11

I can’t do this without You, Lord. Help me to be resolved to follow You faithful and true each day!
