As for God…

“As for God His way is PERFECT!” Psalm 18:30

I have needed to be reminded of this today, and just like my God, He was faithful to remind me of it a few times over!! During chapel at school this morning, I opened my Bible and my eyes fell upon this precious promise! Then tonight’s message preached out of Matthew chapter 6 was exactly what I needed! God is so good! He loves to deliver His children from the doubt that can so easily beset them!

He has delivered me tonight with strength from His Word! He assured me that He’s STILL in control! He STILL knows where He’s taking me and what’s in store for me when I get there! His perfectness doesn’t change even when my circumstances do!!

As always I am so blessed by word studies, and when I studied the word perfect it wasn’t any different! Look at the Hebrew meaning of the English word perfect…

tamiym:  entire (literally, figuratively or morally); also (as noun) integrity, truth:–without blemish, complete, full, perfect, sincerely (-ity), sound, without spot, undefiled, upright(-ly), whole

God’s way is without blemish!! He allows nothing in my life that will defile it! He is working to complete his work! Every circumstance is but a piece of the puzzle that will be completed some day soon! Even the “bad” days are good when viewed through His eyes! As one of my favorite songs says, “we see threads, He sees the tapestry!” I see the parts while He sees the whole!

The word “way” means: a road (as trodden); figuratively, a course of life or mode of action. So when I chose to travel God’s road and trust His course for my life, it was a GOOD choice! The journey is sweet because Jesus walks near! Near enough to deliver me from doubt (Psalm 56:13)! Near enough to hold my hand while we walk this road together (Isaiah 41:13)!

I’ve struggled to trust His perfectness today, but He is STILL PERFECT! Perfect enough to remind my doubtful heart that He’s still the SAME today as He was yesterday! He’s STILL working out the same plan He was working out yesterday, and it’s STILL for my good and His glory!

It’s true that His PERFECT way has both pain and peace because both are profitable! Though I’m sure we’d all rather have the peaceful times, it’s often through the pain that He seeks to make His Promises a reality in our lives!

Wherever you are tonight, know that it’s but a small part of His PERFECT plan!!! 🙂

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend full of the Presence of our faithful God!! I’ll leave you with a picture and story that is sure to bring a smile to your face!

God loves to show up in the details in our lives! He reminded me of His presence through something my Chicken Nugget said tonight! While peering through her pretzel, she says “I see you!” Guess what??? My God sees me too! He knows just where I am, why I’m here and where He’s taking me! 🙂 Proverbs 15:3  tells me that ” The eyes of the LORD are in every place…” and that means they’re on me! 🙂

The message last night really touched my heart too. I was reminded again to just do what He has called me to do and let Him take care of the details. Too many times we try to figure every thing out before we move when He says go and I will be with you and show you the way one step at a time. And this blog reminded me that His way is perfect. Thank you.

    Love you

You are right. God is always there through the good and the painful times. Even when I feel I am alone, that he is not there or he doesn’t care about me, I am so wrong. He allows us to go through hard and painful times to strenghten us and also to teach us a lesson. I all to well know what that is like. I do know without a doubt that God is always there holding my hand, ready to catch me when and if I fall.

I too struggle to see how he is so perfect in every way, I also forget that he sees everything that happens to me and knows already what will happen, and what I will do. I pray everyday that God will help me to be who he wants me to be. I pray that he will give me the strength to be the godly woman I struggle to be every day. I know in my heart that he is there giving the help I need, sometimes I just don’t allow him to help me and try to do things alone. I always fail, and then realize that if I would lean on him he would guide my life. I know that he will never fail, and he will always love me even though I don’t deserve it. I don’t know how I even survived life before I surrendered my whole entire life over to him. Yet, I still fail every day, thank goodness our God is a forgiving God. He is so good to me. I thank him every day for saving me and my children. I pray that I will be able to lead others that are lost to the Lord before it is too late. I pray that every day. Again, thank you for being such a wonderful friend, a godly woman, you are such a inspiration to me every day. Thank you.

    Love ya,
    Staci
